Fred Thompson voted against it. I agree with you. Weren’t conservatives supposed to be up in arms over this massive expansion of government entitlements? It takes a pretty strong guy to buck his party, and this wasn’t the only Thompson vote like it.

Only 11 republican senators voted for it. (Campaign Finance Reform) Right now two of the 11 are running for president and I'm hearing crickets. Why is that??? *To reform the financing of Federal elections.

Fred Thompson voted FOR his campaign finance bill along with McCain and 9 other republicans.
