Yes, but those particular programs are especially notorious expansions of government. They definitely don’t reflect well on Duncan Hunter in my opinion.

Fact of the matter is, only 66 out of 534 members of Congress did NOT vote for NCLB. Only 34 members voted against the medicare bill.

Why is no one talking about the biggest freedom grab in recent history any more? There are FReepers that actually were saying President Bush should be impeached for signing this unconstitutional piece of legislation. Only 11 republican senators voted for it. Right now two of the 11 are running for president and I'm hearing crickets. Why is that???

To reform the financing of Federal elections.
Mr. MCCAIN (for himself, Mr. FEINGOLD, Mr. THOMPSON,

As for the Club for Growth, they may want to take a look at their archives.

If those are the 2 only policies which are negative, and that is all the LIBERTARIAN club for growth can come up with, then it is a damn good track record for Hunter.

He’s been a Congressman since Reagan, and thats only 2 instances. Not only is it not too shabby, its almost perfect.

I agree they are bad marks on Hunter, but they are the only bad marks on him... He's spot on on every other issue! Who else has anything to say (much less an action plan) about China?

You and I will never find anyone we agree with 100%, but Duncan Hunter is right 95% which is much better than anyone else!!!

It's also too early to count him out, we need to get the word out so people will know about him and listen for him... That's the only way he stands a chance....
