The driver was too determined

Yup, and I doubt if he learned his lesson either. Given the choice of putting up with the driver’s attitude or ignoring the bad behavior I would have arrested the jerk too. He set the tone of resisting and disrespect from the beginning.

Then, I would respectfully submit: YOU should NOT be a cop either. There were better ways to bring this punk down to earth. The cop DOES have the authority of the law behind him. He doesn't HAVE to immediately resort to force.

Seems every post of yours centers on lack of respect. THAT is the problem. Cops are not our betters and deserve no additional respect than anyone else does. They are public servants doing a job. Sounds like you are a cop as well. Good thing we aren’t in person or you would shoot me for my lack of respect.

People who have been given the authority to lock you up and use weapons on you should put up with a little attitude. There’s a lot of public who have attitude. That’s not one of the guidelines for using a taser.

So you are the attitude police?

Oh, my bad. I thought people got arrested for actual violations of the law.
