The Aruban police do this sort of thing once every six months or so just to make American tourists think they are doing their job. Of course the Aruban police have been crooked since day one of this case.
I’ve covered this case extensively on my Blog, so much so I could be Greta.
This could be different because they are re-arresting Joran vandersloop. This is odd cause Joran’s Dad evidently had contacts both in the gambling bizness on that island and I’m thinking some influence on the local yokel cops.
Natalee’s Mom has not let go of this case and no matter how old it all got....think if it was your kid murdered by some smirking kid like vandersloop. There’s a kid needs a smirk knocked off his face clear over to Holland.
Anyway....I’m speculating that maybe one of those other guys involved in that case...maybe Natalee’s Mom raised some money and PAID them to go talking against Joran.
Don’t forget there’s THREE perps alleged to be involved in this thing. Three people to keep their mouths shut for the rest of their lives? If only one, or even two, of those perps was involved in the death of Natalee, sooner or later one of them’s gonna talk.
Money....hey, if that’s what it takes to get some Aruban justice.

Joran van der Sloot’s father (don’t remember his name) appeared to have helped his son cover up the death or murder.
If this is so, hopefully he will be going to the slammer too.

I’ve felt the same as you...I’m glad his smirking little butt was arrested in Holland right in front of his new impressed and stupid friends..the same butt will be on display on TV as he is taken in hand cuffs all the way home to Aruba...have a nice trip...

I suspect one or both of the Kalpoe brothers got high on booze or drugs one night and mistakenly blabbed their little hearts out.
They don't strike me as the sharpest knives in the drawer.
