We call Lifetime the “I Hate Men” network. Every once in a while the woman is the bad guy, but that’s the exception that proves the rule.
Yes, my husband is grateful I don’t make him watch chick flicks too often, although he liked ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility’. I remember noticing plenty of middle-aged men in the theater clapping at the end of ‘Sense and Sensibility’. But I have to be careful in my recon work in order to keep him happy.
I didn’t see Bridget Jones Diary and can’t remember Sense and Sensibility, but I did like Pride and Prejudice.
