I saw Beowulf Friday night. You wear an over sized set of polarized glasses that fit over your own glasses. One lens is 90 degrees out of phase with the other matching similar polarization on the projector. Color is not affected. So long as you have normal binocular vision, you can watch Beowulf... And should.

They are using circular polarization which means the image doesn’t collapse no matter where you look on the screen. The glasses were big enough at”Meet the Robinsons” to fit ove my own glasses so I had a very good 3d experience with them!
