Candidate Giuliani stressed the need for America to break its dependence on foreign oil.

You don't say, Rooty.

Is that why Rooty's getting campaign support from Kazakhstan (a former Soviet state in Central Asia)?

Kazakhstan is in the Strategic Energy Ellipse and is a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with China and Russia; an oil and gas focal point of influence between the West and the East...........Kazahstan also has vast uranium stores and is banking on being a nuclear-transit corridor.

Mmmmmm.....if Rooty got his greasy hands on federal power, he could really help 'em with that plan, eh (/sarc)?

KAZAKH KASH By CARL CAMPANILE NY Post September 22, 2007

Rudy Giuliani is reaching out to Borat's glorious nation of Kazakhstan to make benefit his presidential campaign. The campaign will throw a fund-raiser in Kazakhstan on Wednesday. "Rudy will be holding a live teleconference with supporters," fund-raising chief Roy Bailey said in a letter to supporters. Giuliani's law firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, has two offices in Kazakhstan. SOURCE http://www.nypost.com/seven/09222007/news/nationalnews/kazakh_kash.htm

Bracewell & Giuliani's Almaty, Kazakhstan (in Central Asia) January closings totalled $1.625 Billion---Giuliani has two offices there).

============================================

Meet Global Rudy. Here's The Rudester's global connections (that we know of): (1) Giuliani Capital Advisors, LLC (AKA Giuliani Partners LLC), (2) Giuliani Group, (3) Giuliani-Kerik (re-named Giuliani Security and Safety, after the departure of the tainted ex-Police Commissioner), (4) Giuliani-Van Essen, (5) Bracewell & Giuliani LLP law firm (based in Texas with global interests), (6) Bracewell & Giuliani has two offices in Kazakhstan (a former Soviet state in Central Asia), and, (7) Giuliani Security & Safety, Asia

Do voters in Iowa, Wyoming, New Hampshire, and Michigan know Giuliani's plans for their states? Will Giuliani take properties from area taxpayers by eminent domain and hand them over to foreign entities?

REFERENCE Bracewell & Giuliani's Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., a Spanish transportation company (lobbied for Privatization of Texas Toll Road) The properties assembled for the "trade corridor" and govem to a foreign bank were taken from area taxpayers by eminent domain.

Bracewell & Giuliani Firm Advises Cintra in First Privatization of Toll Road in Texas DALLAS (March 1, 2007) Bracewell & Giuliani LLP (Texas-based law firm with global connections) advised Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., a Spanish transportation company, in its successful bid to develop State Highway 121 into a toll road through Collin and Denton counties ("trade road" is four football fields wide). The award to Cintra, approved by the Texas Transportation Commission, is the first privatization of a Texas toll road. Bracewell is acting as project counsel to Cintra with respect to the 50-year concession from the Texas Department of Transportation. Cintra will pay a $2.1 billion upfront and annual lease payments totaling $700 million. "Cintra was awarded this project because of its proven expertise and competitive proposal," said Thomas O. Moore, partner with Bracewell & Giuliani. "This is the largest transportation deal of 2007. This is one of only five deals in the country." Giuliani-Sage Invest In Biodiesel Plants In Spain

The Giuliani Sage capital risk fund announced that through the company Becco España they, along with Interdin Corproate Advisory, are investing in a major project to build two biodiesel plants in Burgos and Madrid. Backing for the new company comes from the Caja de Burgos (20%), Antolin (5%) and the Giuliani Sage Fund (75%), which is headed by former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

The annual short-term fuel production goal is 150,000 tons, and the mid-term objective is 500,000 tons. It was also announced that as a result of the collaboration between the Fund and Interdin, a second project is in the making to build Spain’s first solar plate factory in Aranda de Duero, which will create jobs for 100 people.

Although Giuliani has not revealed its stake in these projects, Caja de Burgos CEO, José María Arribas, said that his bank will contribute up to 10 million euros in the biodiesel plants, or 20% of their share in Becco. Giuliani confirmed that his fund chose Spain for the economic growth it has seen over the last five years and, because the country will play an important role in the global economy.

The Giuliani Sage fund, through Interdin, hopes to bring foreign capital into Spain and to broker those companies that want to do business in the States and Asia, especially Japan, where the fund has been active for the past few years. The former mayor added that they are talking to prospective clients in Spain and are already advising Indra on transport management and security matters, since much of their technology is with the U.S. and Japan. Giuliani assured that like Japan, they are planning to invest in five or six Spanish projects in up to five different industries and, to step up business relations between the U.S. and Spain

The words of Jim Robinson on pushing a liberal like Rino Rudy.

“How many times must I say FR is a conservative site? We do not support abortionism, homosexualism, feminisim, environmentalism, gun control, liberalism, socialism, etc, etc, etc. When I say I suspect we will become even more conservative than we already are, possibly via attrition if nothing else, what do you think I’m referring to? When FR starts pushing hard and I mean hard against abortion, gay marriage, homosexual education forced on our school children, pandering to illegal aliens, gun control, McCaine-Feingold type usurpation, global warming, etc, etc, even if supported or advanced by the GOP, then I fully suspect certain types of moderate/liberal Republican supporters are probably going to be a little uncomfortable here. We will be fighting for traditional American conservatism no matter who we have to fight against and I’m afraid that’s going to piss off some folks.”

Sheldon Gary Adelson (born August 1, 1933)[1] is an American billionaire businessman. He is a property developer and public company CEO based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Las Vegas Sands Corp., the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited which operates the Venetian Casino Resort and the Sands Expo and Convention Center. Adelson vastly increased his net worth upon the initial public offering of Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) in December 2004 by selling just 10% of the shares. With an estimated wealth of US$26.5 bn, he is the United States’ third richest person as of 2007[2]. Adelson studied at City College of New York, but did not complete his studies.

Adelson was born in to a Jewish family in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. His family emigrated to the United States from the Russian empire (mother’s family from Ukraine, father from Lithuania).[3]. He worked at a young age selling newspapers on local street corners and owned his first business by the time he was twelve. In the years that followed, he worked as a mortgage broker, investment adviser and financial consultant. To this point in his career, Adelson has created and developed to maturity more than 50 different companies, including COMDEX, a tradeshow he developed with his partners for the computer industry and with the goal to get more visitors to his hotels.

In 1988, Adelson and his partners purchased the Sands Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the former hangout of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, in order to bring Las Vegas to a new phase of business centricity through the exhibition industry. The following year, Mr Adelson and his partners constructed the Sands Expo and Convention Center, the only privately owned and operated convention center in the United States.

In 1995, Adelson and his partners sold the Interface Group Show Division, including the COMDEX shows, to Softbank Corporation of Japan for a cash price in excess of $860 million. In 1991, while honeymooning in Venice with his wife Miriam (a physician), Adelson gained the inspiration for a mega-resort hotel, and he proceeded with the implosion of the venerable Sands and the construction of the $1.5-billion The Venetian, a Venice-themed resort hotel and casino. The luxurious, all-suite Venetian revolutionized the Las Vegas hotel industry, and has been honored with architectural and other awards naming it as one the finest hotels in the world. In 2003, The Venetian added the 1,013-suite Venezia tower - giving The Venetian 4,049 suites, 18 leading-chef restaurants, a shopping mall with canals, gondolas and singing gondoliers.

Adelson spearheaded a major project to bring the Sands name to the Macao SAR, China, the Chinese gambling city that had been a Portuguese colony until December 20, 1999. The one million-square-foot Sands Macau became the People’s Republic of China’s first Las Vegas-style casino when it opened in May 2004.

In addition, on May 26, 2006, Adelson’s Las Vegas Sands was awarded a hotly contested license to construct a casino resort in Singapore’s Marina Bay. The new casino is expected to open in 2009 at a rumored cost of $3.16 billion.

On August 28, 2007, Adelson opened the $2.4 billion Venetian Macao Resort Hotel on Cotai and announced a vision to launch a massive, concentrated resort area he calls the Cotai Strip, after its Las Vegas counterpart. Adelson formally stated his plans to open more hotels under brands such as Four Seasons, Sheraton and St. Regis. Ergo, his Las Vegas Sands (which rand the Sands Macao on the Macau peninsula), plans to invest $12 billion and build 20,000 hotel rooms on the Cotai Strip by 2010.[

In 2007, Adelson made an unsuccessful bid to buy controlling interest in the Israeli newspaper Maariv. When this failed, he proceded with parallel plans to publish a free daily newspaper to compete with Israeli, a newspaper he had co-founded in 2006 but had left. [6] The first edition of the new newspaper, Israel HaYom, was published on July 30, 2007.

Since 1991, Adelson is married to Miriam Ochshorn, a physician.

Philanthropic gifts

Mr. Adelson currently has funded over $25,000,000 to the M.I.S Hebrew Academy in Las Vegas to build a high school. Currently, the high school has a 9th and 10th grade and will add more grades annually.

In 2007 Mr. Adelson founded Freedom’s Watch, an advocacy group in part run and supported by former officials of the Bush administration.

In 2006 Mr. Adelson contributed $25,000,000 to the organization Birthright Israel, which finances Jewish youth trips to Israel. The gift is anticipated to be given annually for the foreseeable future [1].

In 2007, Mr. Adelson pledged another $25,000,000 to the Birthright Israel program, allowing for approximately 20,000 people to take part in the program [2].

Mr. Adelson also has funded the Boston based Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Medical Research Foundation. This foundation initiated the Adelson Program in Neural Repair and Rehabilitation (APNRR) with $7.5 million donated to collaborating researchers at 10 universities. [7] Mr. Adelson has publicly pledged billions to medical research and has encouraged researchers to contact him with ideas that need to be funded. Oddly, however, the Adelson Medical Research Foundation does not have a cognizable website.[8]

Same old. Same old. The Clintons have stolen the democrat nomination through their usual obvious criminal activities. The media ranges from near total denial/refusal to really cover (Fox), all the way to outrageous fabrications and staged fake debate questions planted in cooperation with Hillary (CNN).

Giuliani's fleet of corporate connections includes more than a dozen big-moneyed interests, among them... Zuffa LLC, a company whose creations include "Ultimate Fighting Championship

Wikipedia:

Zuffa, LLC is an American sports promotion company specializing in the promotion of mixed martial arts. It was founded in January 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada to be the new parent entity behind the Ultimate Fighting Championship by Station Casinos executives Frank Fertitta III and Lorenzo Fertitta, after they purchased the UFC from Semaphore Entertainment Group. The word "Zuffa" is an Italian word, meaning "to fight". Zuffa is the entity credited with taking the UFC and mixed martial arts in the United States from a marginalized sport to being the fastest growing sport in the country, with fast-rising popularity within the highly-desired 18-30 male demographic.

Zuffa is headed by the Fertittas and President Dana White.

American Mafia.com
(snip)

In 1976, Frank Fertitta, Sr., the father of Frank, Jr., bought the off-Strip Bingo Palace with a partner, Carl Thomas. The casino later became known as the Palace Station.

Both Thomas and Fertitta had other jobs at the time. Thomas was chief executive officer of four casinos owned by the Argent Corp., where he brought Fertitta in to be general manager of the Fremont.

But Thomas also had other partners including "Nick" Civella and Carl "the Cork" Civella, brothers and bosses of the La Cosa Nostra chapter in Kansas City. In the 1980s, federal prosecutors charged that Thomas, the Civellas and others conspired to skim money from Argent casinos. After a 1985 trial in Kansas City, a dozen defendants were convicted. Thomas, who by then was serving a 15-year sentence for a skimming conviction in a related case, testified against his former partners in return for immunity from prosecution.

In his testimony, Thomas did not implicate Fertitta, Sr. who had bought out Thomas' interest in the Bingo Palace when the skimming charges first surfaced. The price he paid for the thriving casino was reportedly only one dollar!

Fertitta, Sr., has consistently denied any involvement, and never was indicted or charged. His casino empire, Stations Casinos, has since grown to be one of the largest casino operations in Nevada operating thirteen properties in Nevada and one in Northern California.

Because of Station's generous political campaign contributions combined with those of Harrahs, no politician in Nevada (with the exception of former State Senator Joe Neal) has dared suggest that Nevada based companies with California holdings, pay increased gross Nevada gaming taxes for the privilege of sucking profits and gaming tax revenue from Laughlin, Downtown Las Vegas, Reno, or Tahoe -- areas that have been directly impacted by California gaming.

Stations' Thunder Valley Casino and Resort located outside Sacramento, California has devastated casinos in Lake Tahoe and Reno, and is seriously impairing our northern Nevada tax base. Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort in Valley Center, California has also devastated the Laughlin, Nevada tax base. However, Stations and Harrahs extra-Nevada exploits are never mentioned when Nevada's tax shortfalls are discussed.

Frank Fertitta, Sr. also had a daughter, Delise Fertitta, who married Blake Sartini. Blake is the son of the late Arthur Sartini.

When I served on the Las Vegas City Council, I called for an investigation of the Las Vegas Housing Authority. Arthur Sartini was the agency's executive director. My efforts led to a federal investigation. The public housing agency in the late 80's was accused by H.U.D. of bilking tenants and converting funds. Millions of dollars were unaccounted for. Sartini, who employed a number of family members at the public agency including his first cousin, brother in law, son Blake, and daughter Julie, suddenly left his position under a cloud of suspicion after 23 years at the helm. The millions were never recovered and the agency soon fell on hard times -- boarding up hundreds of desperately needed public housing units. No one was convicted of a crime.

(snip)

Maceo-Fertitta Crime Family, Galveston, etc. Too much to post. Argent (IMO), mentioned above, is most likely Argent Corporation (A.R. Glick Enterprises), the company of long-time mafia front man Allen Glick.
