Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has decided to keep the chamber in session over the Thanksgiving break to block President Bush from making any unsavory recess appointments while Senators are out of town.

Darn, and I thought I scrapped Dingy Harry off my shoe this morning..

That’s no gentleman. That’s my senator and could he be any more obvious that he’s scared as hell that Bush is going to score another victory before he leaves office.

This is Reid’s way of proving that even though he is gonna force OT,

nothing whatsoever will be accomplished this year, even by anyone else.

No dem will go against he who controls appointments, and few pubs will then leave the dems in complete control of the Senate voting.

They’ve been so productive, we really can’t afford to have them off duty during this critical time.

"...what a bunch of liberal crap..."

Exactly so, but it was FReepers who were endlessly promoting the "nuclear option" just a year ago or more.

We would have had our asses kicked by now if the Republicans had succumbed back then to so many FReeper calls.

I do not like it, but the Senate operates on a bizzarro schedule and pattern.

The only way to win is to WIN BIG at the ballot.

The liberal Democrats simply have to be smitten, and there is no place for civility in this Game.

Call Kennedy a drunken killer, call Kerry a lying cowardly puke, call Hillary a Dyke Beast, Murtha a scummy bribe taker, and all of the other scandalous Pols what they are, but please,...do it out loud and on the TV!

These people are destroying the future for my grandson, and so many many more.

The RAT Reid seemed to be calling out the President in his news conference, this afternoon. I hope Dubya heard him, and comes out with both barrels blazing early next week. If not now, when?

AFAIK, if “no” Republican Senators are present, there cannot be a quorom call, that is what the Dhimmis did in Texas.

Well, you know Mrs. Clinton is going to be really mad...I’ll bet she’s just dying to get home to her kitchen.

...to kick her dog, strangle a chicken, and have a muffin.

Reid and his culture war at home fomenting the treason of preventing government from happening. We have no government with men like Reid in power, and if he and his colleagues keep it up, we will have anarchy, a banana Republic.

This shows you just how dangerous the liberal socialists are. They feel that their ideology is so completely right, like the Taliban extremists we actually are fighting in Afghanistan. Reid and the Talibanis have a lot in common, the ends justify the means. Their next step will be to attempt an armed coupe of the US government, based on the sole fact that they have lost yet another election. The FBI should be watching this POS like a hawk.

I am beginning to loath ideologues like Reid. I think he should be prosecuted for violating his oath of office.
