You apparently don't understand the difference between money and currency. What the Feds illegally confiscated was constitutionally protected and mandated real money, while currency is a representation of money. Any currency that is actually backed by gold or silver in the amount of it's face value is quite legal.

If you print your own money, that looks nothing like legal US currency, and a merchant with full knowledge and awareness accepts that currency, where is the crime???

Liberty Dollars are not forced on anyone. Merchants make a consious choice to accept them. Again, where is the crime?

I think we have not heard the full story here. There is nothing illegal with a barter system in the US.
