And BTW, I was a Catholic, gave up going to church for lent.

So the Cardinal is wrong to point out that the Democrats are a pro-abortion party? I suppose any occasion is good enough to hurl bile at the hated Church for one of the bitter lapsed, eh? Obviously you must not have absorbed the actual teachings of the faith handed down from Christ and the apostles if you allow the sins of the Church's members drive you away from the channels of grace in the sacraments.

“I suppose any occasion is good enough to hurl bile at the hated Church for one of the bitter lapsed, eh?

My past is now bile? What planet did you come from?

I was spared a Catholic schooling because their wasn’t a high school in most of the upper county, still isn’t, and when the oldest child transferred out to public school at the 9th grade their younger siblings followed, separated by about two weeks per transfer.

I couldn’t attend Sunday school for four years because the church didn’t seem to GARA at the time.

Our church at that time was a refreshment stand at a failed amusement park.

Every Protestant church in town offered to let us use their church but the clown they sent wanted a Catholic facility.

The Shrine of Czestahova denied us access to their facilities, only a few miles away. They spent big bucks on a new facility in ‘76 and Gerald Ford attended the opening ceremony. Run by the Jesuits.

The only thing they seemed to do well was pass the plate to raise money. Even that hit a speed bump when there where only two males attending mass to collect the dough. Had to enlist kids, I hope the other one hasn’t croaked already from a heart attack like his twin.

If you haven’t been where I’ve been STFU!

We had very low attendance in the early days of our parish, and a clown running the show who admitted he stole the money for the “Indians” in New Mexico to meet the mortgage on the church.

The mortgage was held by the church, not a bank, and the “Indians” were at the detox facility for drunks and queer clergy.

Most people catch on to scams early in life.
