I hate to say this, but those at the "top of the food chain" are too PC, and too stupid (a DEADLY combination, but it is our troops who end up dying) to realize you can win the hearts and minds of those cavemen by bashing in their brains ad kicking their asses until they realize your way is better.

I think that if there is a pattern of ambushes after a meeting with certain “Afghan leaders” those leaders need to meet their demise.
