(Nov. 10) - Kate Moss recently met British opposition party leader David Cameron at a charity fundraiser, whereupon she began complaining about some plumbing issues she was having in her home.
"So I went on like this, twittering on, and she turned around and said, 'God, you sound like a really useful guy, can I have your phone number?'" he told a British talk show, reports the Agence France-Presse.
"I went back to my table and said, 'The good news is, I met Kate Moss and she wanted my telephone number. The bad news is, I think she thinks I'm something to do with drainage.'"

I still think it was funnier when Madelleine Albright was mistaken for the cleaning lady. That was a mistake anyone could make.

Not fair! I think the incident speaks well of them both.
We aren’t party to the conversation. Mr. Cameron says only that he was “twittering on,” I can only assume he was speaking in detail of some personal home improvement project. If Kate Moss thought he sounded like he knew plumbing the brits can at least take comfort in the thought that he might actually be able to earn an honest living. Furthermore, it certainly sounds like his personal bearing is utterly without pomposity or superciliousness.
Leave it to Kate Moss (who’s 33 nowadays) to find the useful qualities in everyone she meets...
