It's a long read but worth is. Like him or hate hin, do respect Morris' opinion because he knows Hillary and Bill better than anyone else, even each other!

I don’t agree that her agenda is hidden. Seems pretty clear to me.

Are you scared enough yet to vote Republican with a blindfold on?

“When a major presidential candidate refuses to reveal the specifics of her campaign program, taking the position that she “won’t answer hypothetical questions,” how are we to gauge her candidacy and intentions? There’s only one way...”

Right … and that is for us as voters to assume that what she intends is something gratuitous, unprincipled, controversial, self-serving and unwelcome to the majority. SO controversial, self-serving and unprincipled that she does NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY ARTICULATE WHAT SHE PLANS and also knows that it is best to foist it on the constituents once they have actually nominated her and can’t withdraw support without detriment to their own chances. DOES SHE THINK WE’RE STUPID!!!!

Considering that in the general election there will be only electable candidates, of course.

Yes, she does. She also thinks we are weak, cowardly, uneducated and interested only in immediate social and sexual satisfaction. And for many, she is right

"Hillary realizes, as Bill once told me, that any government entitlement for poor people can be easily repealed since they lack political power and practical voting strength."

Since Dick is on the Love Cruise with Giuliani, I didn't read the article, but I did skim it and the above quote caught my eye. Very telling of the Clinton mindset, IMHO.

Really helps make the 'Clinton plantation' argument.

The problem is Dick Morris is a good analyst of political topics, but has a horrific track record predicting what either Clinton will do politically.

He said she wouldn’t run for the Senate. He then said she wouldn’t win.

Remember? I do.

“Hillary never mentions that it was her husband who vetoed the repeal of the AMT in 1999. No, it’s all the Bush Administration’s fault.

In recent years, Bush and the Congresses have chosen to adopt one year patches to postpone the effective date of the expansion of the AMT to the middle class. They did so because they didn’t want to have to account for the ten year projected revenue loss repealing or modifying the AMT would entail.”

Sorry, not killing the AMT is the fault of a “Republican” congress and “Republican” president’. We handed this one to her on a silver platter.

Morris know what he’;s talking about, though.

I know that at one time Morris was a major cog in the Clinton machine. Yet he's been outa there for a while now hasn't he?

I still appreciate his insight since he has seen behind the "authorize personnel only" doors.

“taxing gains as ordinary income (at 40%)” That won’t happen because to many liberals make all their money that way. Do you think J Forbes Kerry would want to pay taxes like “The Little People”?

No, but scaring conservatives into voting for a liberal RINO candidate, aka Rudy, is the very obvious intent of the article. No one, not even Hillary, will scare me into voting for Rudy. One is almost as scary as the other AFAIC. As for the article itself, I don't give any more credibility to the toesucker than I do to the Clintons, they're all cut from the same bolt of cloth.

I don't care what polls say at this early stage of the game. Most of the people being polled have only a vague idea of who's running, and have even less idea of what even the leading candidates' positions and records are. I believe a conservative Pub has a much better chance of beating Hillary than Rudy or any other RINO who carries the socially liberal baggage he carries, because a significant % of the socially/morally conservative segment of the GOP base will vote 3rd party or stay home if he's the nominee.

I won't stay home but I won't vote for either Hillary or Rudy, the slightly lesser of two evils is still evil. I'm 70 years old and have never voted for a Democrat or a liberal of any party since the 1960 JFK vs Nixon election. I'm not going to start compromising with the demonic evils of social/moral liberalism at this late date and time.

If he hates Hillary so much (as we all do). why did he help save the Clinton machine by helping them in ‘96. I guess we understand “that was just business”. Talk about selling the rope to hang themselves, will you.

(...an excellent reason to support Giuliani.)

There is little doubt that such a scenario would provoke armed resistance from within the U.S. Scenes like the one played-out in NH by the two tax refusniks would be multiplied a thousand fold. The Hillary Government would be seen as an occupying enemy force. There would be hell to pay.

*************

I had the same impression; that this is a pro-Giuliani piece disguised as an anti-Hillary piece.
