New commercial satellite photos show that a Syrian site believed to have been attacked by Israel last month no longer bears any obvious traces of what some analysts said appeared to have been a partly built nuclear reactor.

Take note of the UNDERGROUND Entrances still there, just to the lower left of the former building, and the upper right on the dredge area to the Northwest (??)

where is the water supply to cool off the reactor rods? This is cropped from Google earth.
That's the Euphrates.

Good photos but Im curious where is the water supply to cool off the reactor rods? Every reactor I am familiar with is located next to a river or lake to provide adequate cooling for the reactor rods. Maybe they were assembling dirty bombs or rockets here instead. A lot of them aren't, some use cooling towers instead. They still need a water supply, but it is only for "make up" of the water that evaporates from the cooling tower. Some are plutonium production reactors are or were "air cooled". Our first reactor under the stands at the University of Chicago also worked that way. That's why they called it "Chicago Pile 1" or CP-1.
Besides, if you look at the images in post 11, you'll see a "Possible pumping station" down on a nearby river. Either way, the odds of that structure being anything other than a plutonium producing reactor are slim to none.
The Israelis saved the world, and themselves, again.

Id prefer to see imagery from Sep 5th and then the 7th......in fact I find it suspicious that we dont. Those would need to be taken from aircraft, or possibly military type satellites, although even that would be problematical. Commercial satellites don't image anyplace that often.

Yeah, its described as cylindrical in the ABC piece. That might be the reactor structure inside of the large rectangular building that has been "disappeared".

Why was that left standing? Where are the other bombing craters? Something is wrong with this picture! A 2,000 lb laser guided bomb only leaves one crater. That would be the smoothed out area in the picture where the presumed reactor building was in the earlier image.

Notice no one is saying anything about the material at the reactor or the contents inside the building?

Great eye! I didn’t notice.

Nork reactor with cooling tower. Reactor building same square on square shape as Eye Doctors reactor.

Interesting... Those other buildings weren’t there in early August. Barracks, perhaps? Was the IDF waiting on someone, rather than just something, to grease?
