Is there a specific date FreeRepublicans celebrate FR's birth? Or is there a day it ought to be celebrated (besides every day)?

Buckhead.
He was the first to state the memos from 60 minutes Dan Rather story were forgeries.
Others here and at other sites verified the memos were fakes.

My wierdest memories of FR have always been reading posts by a fellow named A+Bert. He must have been kicked off FR 2 dozen times. Jim Robinson, kind soul, would always let him back on after one or two days of suspension. A+Bert would keep his cool for a day or two and then go off on another rant. I think he eventually joined Jimi Hendrix and kissed the sky.

Did you ping me, or did I ping you? I seem to have misplaced my list, and I don't remember things very well, anymore.

Hey, Jim...do you have records of our old names? I guess that seems stupid; but I had no idea that "time in service" would become an asset; so I changed my Freepin' name years ago.

Definitely some great black conservatives but we need lots more on our side. I believe that most blacks are conservative but just haven’t gotten out of the “vote democrat” habit. The same could be said for union members.

Yeah, and who was the guy with the Latin name who pretended to be an “insider” in DC and wrote Nostradamus-type posts?
