A vote for Giuliani in the primaries is a vote for Hillary in the general.

Absolutely true.

Those who insist on Giuliani are liberals who are trying to split the republican party and throw this to Hillary.

This is the media's game.

The RudyBots have been brainwashed -- before even one vote has been cast -- by the media's plan to push Rudy during the run-up to the election. The media wants an easily defeated liberal republican to run against the socialist democrat. That way, even if, perchance, the deadbeat lib wins, then they've still got a win.

The socialists/MSM are trying to set themselves up for a win-win situation, and the shallow wings of the electorate, even fair weather 'conservatives,' when they get called by the pollsters, are mindlessly parroting what their brainwashing by the media has trained them to say .

Rudy's positions and record are awful. How can anyone be taken in by his shucksterism?

I disagree. I think that many of the Rooty Rooters have always been liberals and they are anxious to be able to remove the facade of conservatism. I have seen in the past year a number of FReepers disparagingly using terms like "Religious Right" (one compared us to the Taliban last weekend) and "Far Right."
