And, if Giuliani should, by some twist of fate, win the presidency, it will mean the end of Reaganism. It will represent a turning point in the history of the Republican Party and our nation. It will mean the continued deaths of tens of millions unborn babies when we are closer than ever to defeating the abortion culture that Roe v. Wade initiated in 1973.
Should Giuliani succeed, it will represent the end of any hope for the Republican Party to serve as an alternative to the Democratic Party for millions of people like me and Dr. Dobson. That's bigger than two terms of Hillary Rodham Clinton. That's worse even than four or eight more years in the wilderness.
I actually believe it would be worse for America if Rudy Giuliani were elected president than Hillary Rodham Clinton.
If Hillary wins, the reaction to her predictable overreaching will be similar to what we experienced in 1994 a "Republican revolution."
If Rudy wins, millions will simply defect from the Republican Party. If you want to see the rise of a third party, just be sure to nominate Giuliani and elect him as president.
The long-term consequences of a Giuliani victory are far worse than the consequences of a Clinton victory.
So let's avoid that dire choice now. There's still time to avoid such an unpleasant scenario. Let's just nominate a Republican the Republican base can support.

Who decides whats murder by the way? Joshua killed every man woman and child and even beast when he conquered lands God had given them and he did it at the commandment(active) of God.
David wrote in the 137th Psalm, "Happy shall he be that taketh and dashes their (Babylon) little ones against the rocks."
Now before you put words in my mouth I am not excusing abortion, I am asking you to consider if what David wanted and what Joshua did by killing hundreds maybe thousands of babies and infants and toddlers and all ages in between murder? He was doing what God commanded him.
By the way, America is a nation given by God to us so the Gospel of Jesus, not the Law of Moses, could be preached. Abortion, homosexuality and disease are all curses come upon us because of lying preachers and false prophets who love money and the praise of men who were probably never even called of God.
1 John 5:3-4
3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Being "unmovable" with principles, when doing so does far more harm than good in the long term for your cause is silly. If Hillary is elected, and she gets to pick two or three Supreme Court justices, how long do you think it will be before any meaning effort will be done to overturn Roe v. Wade. Without this, there is nothing the pro-life movement can do to overturn abortion.
If you were so concerned with your principle and would do anything to see it achieved, why has the pro-life movement done a piss poor job of winning hearts and minds. The tactics used thus far have done nothing but divide and chase aware the moderates on this issue. For example, in Denver recently during the Relay for Life, anti-abortion protesters held signs and yelled at the crowd as the relay began. It was embarrassing.
If I had not reasoned myself into the pro-life position on my own, and instead relied on what the pro-life movement puts across, there is no way I would ever have agreed with them.
If your principles are that important, do something to actually see them realized, not pointless sitting out of an election if your candidate doesn't make it. That accomplishes nothing.
Read #235 again, both passages.
If you are murdering, then you are breaking the new commandment of love. It clearly says that.
We know that murderers are fooling themselves about their love for Jesus.
And, anyone who harms one of these little ones, it would be better to have a millstone tied about his neck and be cast into the sea.
What’s your neck size?
Let me see if I have this logic right.
Since I support NEITHER abortionist, then I'm liable for one of them.
But, since you support one of the abortionists, you are responsible for neither of them.
Do I have that right?
Then, you're ignorant for not realizing a vote for a liberal of either party advances liberalism. And, the Republican party is going to continue to put forth liberal RINOs so long as they know you are dumb enough to vote for whatever candidate they put up.
With conservatives like you, there is no need for liberals because you put liberals in office.
Twisting the Bible the way you just did is like coming an ax murder to dropping a bomb on Nazi Germany that killed German civilians and children.
Letting the GOP be overtaken by liberalism eliminates conservatism from the picture altogether.
Abraham was before the ten and he was righteous by faith because he believed the words of God "so shall thy seed be".
The Law of Moses including the Ten Commandments were given to the children of Israel because of rebellion, but God was going to establish a new covenant, which he did when he raised Jesus from the dead.
Jesus said that the Law is in effect until all is fulfilled, which happened Easter Sunday when he conquered hell and death and was raised from the dead. By the way, Jesus was crucified by envious religious leaders who were pissed because they taught the Law but did not operate in the power of God.
If God told a General in 2007 to wipe out every living creature in Faluja, and he did it and told the world, "God commanded me to kill everyone" my guess is that many here would condemn the man as a murderer.
Do you support abortion?
The conservative movement, if it's still alive that is, is itself in the country's best interest and it must be kept intact if Hillary is to be defeated. If Giuliani splits the Republican vote bloc into something like 90% for Rudy and 10% for a 3rd party and stay at homes we will get the worst of all worlds, a Hillary administration and a floundering, impotent, more liberal GOP further alienating social conservatives by accusing them of allowing her to win.You can curse and rail at that 10% all you want, but that won't affect the way they vote next year
By the time all that gets worked out and the rift is bandaged over, Hillary will have wreaked so much havoc on America that it would take generations to erase it all, if that would even be possible. But that disastrous result of a divided GOP vote can be avoided by simply nominating a Republican other than Rudy. I believe that faced with a choice between Hillary and any of the other GOP candidates, including Mitt, almost every social/evangelical conservative would crawl over broken glass to vote against Hillary.
Mitt is not my candidate by any stretch, and that's probably true of most evangelicals. However, if he is nominated his Mormon religion will not deter me from voting for him, but I can't say the same for Rudy.
What is the Plan B after the nomination is made?
No.
I believe that faced with a choice between Hillary and any of the other GOP candidates, including Mitt, almost every social/evangelical conservative would crawl over broken glass to vote against Hillary.
A very good post.
Do you think a right to abortion is found in the constitution?
So, it is okay for you kill human beings or support others who do?
By the way, America is a nation given by God to us so the Gospel of Jesus, not the Law of Moses, could be preached. Abortion, homosexuality and disease are all curses come upon us because of lying preachers and false prophets who love money and the praise of men who were probably never even called of God.
This sounds an awful lot like hate speech of the Fred Phelps or KKK variety. Is that you Fred?
I must admit, it's surprising that you would be supporting Rooty Toot, you sound more like one of the Paulites.
If it’s the lesser of two evils, I’ll take Rudy over Hitlery any day.
