This must be a repeat but its worth another post.
This is the most interesting thing I've read in a long time. The sad thing about it, you can see it coming.
I have always heard about this democracy countdown. It is interesting to see it in print. God help us, not that we deserve it.

We have pretty long. The USA is not a democracy, it’s a republic, a constitutional republic with representative government.
Democrats want to turn the USA into a democracy, republicans want to keep the republic concept.

According to the formula, we are living on borrowed time, at the 230-year mark.
We are firmly in the apathy phase, entering the total dependency stage.

I strongly agree with the thoughts & sentiments expressed in this. However, the historic authenticity is questionable.

I have replied to several threads with this information.
The quote is supposed to come from his book “Universal History”.
I have been searching for this book without luck.
Our local library is looking for a copy as they can request any book from any Texas library or state supported college.

You wanna yawn and get your firearm out every time you hear that tired old argument what "we're not a democracy,we be an rebuplic", as if no one ever heard it.
Democracy appears to be a temporary respite from humanity's default condition which is tyranny!
Other than that, continue spreading your revelation and discovery about us being a republic!

This all makes sense to me.
But what about those who became very rich in that democr. Economy, oh I remember 1933, they just switch sides, while we get our Guns and shot at each other.

Please note that the reference to a 200 year average national life is not specific to democracies but to “’The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history.”

That is very interesting and makes a lot of sense.
We don’t have long...it actually is over as a free nation (America)
