Maybe I’m too clueless . . . as many would agree . . .
but perhaps you could articulate better than a lot of us . . . what you see as
THE FITTING parameters as ON TOPIC for the fire threads.
I’d appreciate it. I have no need to offend you or anyone else on them. And it seems like your def tends to be enough different from mine to bother you. And I’d rather not do that—naively or otherwise.

Voluntary evacuation in east CHula Vista--All of The Woods at EastLake
Areas of San Miguel Ranch
Areas of Rolling Hills Ranch
Evacuation boundaries are east of Mt. Miguel Road, north of Proctor Valley Road, east of Hunte Parkway and north of Otay Lakes Road.
Firefighters became concerned about the path of the fire when it jumped Otay Lakes Road at Thousand Trails Park. It continues to travel west.

Anyone who would care to offer special prayers for my brother's family in particular in your next chat with the Lord, you have my thanks. You got it.
It seems like a lot of us have family and friends in the area. Maybe one of our prayer warrior freepers can start a thread and we could all add our loved ones?

108 mph gusts were recorded Saturday night/early Sunday morning in the canyons around Malibu I think. Isn’t that close to hurricane force winds?

even though the fire is only a few miles away and winds are up between 40-60.
Well, that makes me feel much better...

74 mph is hurricane force, so 108mph is just about Cat2 strength.

I wonder if any homegrown jihadis are complicit in these fires?Or, could it be the rath of God for the signing of the "can't use mom and dad act" signed into law by swarzi. Sorry if you think I'm being flippant.

"You asked for this mess with your craven support for Arnold in the recall." Craven means "fearful."
I doubt that anyone believes that about me. Perhaps you meant a different word.

I am trying to update the San Bernadino fires on this thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1914650/posts
The news media is just now starting to focus on Arrowhead. The fires there are burning out of control. House after house is just going up, nothing can be done. County/CDF is stretched super thin and the wind is so bad that they can get water drops in it.
This area has been declared the number one priority in the state for whatever that means (no one has resources to help)
