UPDATE: The city of Malibu is advising residents in Puerco Canyon to begin evacuating due to a wildfire driven by powerful winds. This area is north of Pacific Coast Highway and about 1 mile west of Pepperdine University. Residents along the beach on Malibu Road may soon be evacuated. Pacific Coast Highway is closed between Kanan-Dume Road and Topanga Canyon. Residents are advised to head to the west. Evacuation centers are being set up in the Zuma Beach area.
A wildfire driven by powerful winds in the Malibu Hills this morning threatened a university, destroyed at least one home and forced the evacuation of hundreds more, authorities said.

750 cc Honda Intercepter. On the part of Westlake Village you allude,those moonbats will run you down on your bike in a New York Nano Second....worse even when it rained

Yes... current owner Lilly Lawrence. Though it appears the place was being sold and ready to close escrow this Friday. Talk about awful luck.
I hope they had 17 million dollars of fire insurance, but somehow I doubt it. Seriously, though, I feel bad about it. I remember my feelings of: "Oooh, it's going to be a CASTLE!" as it was being built.

KFI has John & Ken now. Mark Thompson from KTTV will be on after the 3:00 news break. They just said the Agua Dulce fire is up to 500 acres already? That doesn’t seem right.
