The Fox focus was about celebs loosing homes.
They just hire the wrong people. Good looking and maybe great legal minds. I think the real problem are the producers. They are NYers and while I have no problem with NYers on many things when it comes to the geography of the country they do truly see the nation as the old New Yorker magazine depicts.

Temecula is ok; it's north. I'm "up the hill" from Temecula. Can see a BIG haze of dark grey smoke from Fallbrook, and could see the glow this morning before daylight.
Wrong link, sorry.

Thought of you and hope your safe?
I'm a teacher. We have 4 snow days built in; I'm getting paid for yesterday and today (closed due to wind). I don't know what happens when those 4 days run out.
And I certainly don't see how teachers can go to Qualcomm - unless they're already there due to being evacuated. They are in the same situation as everyone else is.
Duncan Hunter on CNN.
from SCM: On Channel 7, USFS from briefing said they lost 100 homes in RS last night and cannot now get acccess to GVL bc road is blocked by fire.
- New fires.
- Some fires back burning -into- the wind.
- Light winds from the west now threatening some areas from a new direction.
- Little incentive now to let anybody back into their homes due to changing conditions.
- Between 250,00 - 300,000 evacuated.
- 1,200 to 1,300 CA National Guard assigned to San Diego County for security purposes.
- PG&E Main 500 kb and 250 kb lines are -down-. ISO has declared a Transmission Emergency.
- San Diegans are encouraged to conserve energy by turning off air conditioners and other appliances.
- Today is going to be a tight day on the power grid.
What I said earlier today. If I-5 is cut off, power or communications lines are cut this will spiral into a very significant event.
Stay tuned!

Westerly winds would help. Sea temps are low and onshore would actually raise humidity.
