"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

Your vote isn’t about you. It’s about the allocation of power. A vote that allocates power to Hillary is a vote that allocates power to Hillary, and that’s what it will say about you.

I hate abortion too, but it is between a man, his wife, his doctor and his God.

With all due respect, the situation you went through with your wife has as much to do with the abortion issue as an appendectomy has to do with self-mutilation. An abortion that is performed to save a woman's life is always justified, and there has never been an American law (either on the books or proposed) that would have prevented that abortion. Neither has there been any teaching by any church that would require a woman to die in order to avoid aborting.

All other abortions are elective, and the elective killing of a small child is no more a matter between "a man, his wife, his doctor and his God" than it would be if I went next door and shot my neighbor in the head. It's like comparing concealed carry to a shooting spree.

With Rudy, you are going to get at least two, possibly three, more SC justices like Roberts, Scalia, Thomas or Alito.

The pantsuited one will appoint Ruth Bader Ginsberg clones.

With Hillary, we will get Ginsburg clones, with Rooty we will get Stevens clones. There will be no difference.

A third party will not win a single state. Perot did not win a single state - he took votes away from Bush and gave us 8 years of the Clintons. We could end up with 16 YEARS OF THE CLINTONS. Maybe that doesn’t bother you, but it bothers me. People should stop Giuliani at the primary level.

My assumption is without merit?

I am sorry but I disagree with that completely.

Your assumptions that IF the R’s take the senate Hitlery couldn’t get a lib appointed.... lets just look at some of Bush I and Reagan’s nominees shall we? Or Clinton’s when the Congress was not controlled by Dems.

Your assumptions that a small majority of R in the senate would stop a liberal Hitlery from getting abortion activist and ideologues onto the court I think is very much without merit. History has proven otherwise. In fact the only nominees that have been shut down in my lifetime were Bork, a conservative by liberals, and Myers, a moderate conservative by conservatives.

The further assumption that if R’s don’t win the Senate that leadership will change drastically... Really now? Seems to me I recall “true conservatives” riding Lott out on a rail not that long ago... and Where exactly is he now?

Your suppositions are based on historical precident far more without merit than mine.

Handing Hitlery the White House is the absolute worst possible thing anyone claiming to be anti-abortion could do. She will not only wind up appointing up to 6 justices at the supreme court level, but will surely load the federal courts for the next 20-40 years with liberal activist judges as well. You think the 9th circus is bad now, wait until every one of the court of appeals is loaded down with leftist activists.

R’s have shown they will not stand and fight, and will cave when the media spin gets too hot. They didn’t stop Bubba’s loading of the courts, they won’t stop Hitlery’s either.

I wish some of your suppositions were true, but history shows them to be idealistic dreams, not pragmatic practicle reality.

Sorry Perot gave us Clinton. Bush gave us Perot.

And the result was the Clintons - 8 years of them. And we could end up with 16 years of them. People must vote in the primaries - it is not a done deal that Rudy is the nominee.

When Ruth Buzzy Ginzberg was nominated for the Supreme Court, only three GOP senators voted against her. Thanks for caving, guys!

I will not vote for pro-infanticide candidates. Period.

Then you will get 8 years of Hillary and a dhimmicratic Senate and House.

When that happens I don't want to see you pi$$ing and moaning about a damn thing. It will be your fault and the fault of all the other people on this site who will cut their own noses off to spite their face.

"only three GOP senators voted against"

Perfect example of two things....

One, Mr Nice Guy republicans roll over and wet themselves when the Dems are getting their way.

Two, Abortion wont be stopped by voting pro-life only.

The SCOTUS asserted that abortion was an extension of martial privacy as decided in Griswold v. Connecticut. In doing so it ruled that the federal government had no authority to act on the matter.

Actually the SCOTUS - most definitely a part of the federal government, the last I heard - ruled that the STATES must allow abortion at any time and for any reason. Remember that the case was brought against the state of Texas to strike down its pro-life laws, and the other 49 states had to scrap theirs as well.

Your vote isn’t about you. It’s about the allocation of power.

My vote is about my decision on who should hold power. My vote reflects that decision. My vote is about me. I will not stand under judgment and have to defend a decision like that.

At best your reply only confirms the need to insist upon Conservatives, who are the only ones that understand that their base will hold them accountable.

If you take that from this conversation, more power to you.

What I see the “radical right” or at least some members of it planning on doing this election cycle is making themselves irrellevant for at least the next several election cycles.

If they turn their backs on the nominee in the general, they make themselves irrellevant.

Don’t like Guliani, then by all means support a candidate and convince others to and win the primary. However if you fail to do that, and decide to take your bat and ball and go home, you can enjoy being completely irrellevant going forward.

Dobson Et Al, completely overestimate their influence, and are completely overplaying their hands with this crap, they are doing the same thing on the right, that the libs on the left have been doing regarding their get out of Iraq nonsense, and they are going to learn the hard way a lesson they should already know from history.
