Petty bickering about patriotism and Who Loves Our Troops More has never been seen as a financial growth industry, but there's no stopping American capitalism. This is why a perfunctory bit of political grandstanding, committed to U.S. Senate letterhead this month, became worth a reported $4.2 million yesterday, instantly becoming one of the most valuable printed documents of the modern era.

I think GW’s biggest mistake was thinking that the Dems in DC were the Southern gentlemen that he had dealt with in Texas. He was able to work with them to implement some of his policies. After the way the Dems tricked his Dad, you would think he might have been forewarned, but he did not anticipate how much more partisan DC had become after eight years of the Clintons. I still love and support him, but I wish that he had fought back a lot more. I think that basically he just doesn’t like to operate that way.
No mention that the letter went for $2.1 million and Rush matched the sale price out of his own pocket. Jeez, these folks never cease to amaze me how they twist the facts......
Given the media black out on this story I would suggest that rush present the letter to the winner in front of the CNN building, or CBS’s, or something like that. Stick it right down their throats.
Can somebody get that idea to Rush?
.
What makes this story so juicy is that Limbaugh was going after Reid and the scum that signed the letter.... but then, the DBM sensing the pile of cow-flop Reid had stepped into, censored the story till the end of the auction. Once the auction was finished and the dollar-amount was revealed... the DBM blatantly recreates what actually happened into a piece of pure fiction.
Limbaugh took Reid's letter... turned it into a sht-bomb... and hit not only Reid... but the DBM as well.
For anyone who has followed this story... it speaks volumes!
An excellent example of how a lie becomes “the truth”. It just gets repeated enough times.
The DBM... manages... the news through spin, censorship, scams and outright lies.
DBM? (unfamiliar with this)
“the news” is treated as “testimonials”, negative in nature against the marketing firm’s client competitor - in this case the RNC.
New with an agenda is Marketing. Not sure how else to catagorize it.
Limbaugh Spins Reid’s Letter Into Charity Gold....
and harry reid spins his response into shee-ite!!!
Harry Reid is a phony senator.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
If Bush had been in Rush's place, he'd be falling all over himself trying to apologize to Reid and to all the soldiers he may have offended.
On a side note, my mother in law lives in AZ and went to high school with Harry Reid.
Claims a personal relationship with him and is a complete groupthinker, informed = 0.
They know my positions (and apply the false stereotypes to maintain a bogus position of superiority), but these topics are no longer discussed as they “don’t bring us closer”.
Point: Fall out from these lies are driving a wedge between family members. Considering these issues have an impact on MY families Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness and security, I am inclined to punch my father in law in the nose and never speak to them again... but I have to keep those feelings to myself.
its the template. they are using the Reid’s humiliation to push the Goebles lie.
The last paragraph is the dead paragraph. Reporters put the stuff they do not really want to report there because editors ofthen chop off the last paragraph, excerpts do not include it, and people don’t read that far.
It should have been the first or second paragraph.
The misteps of Nancy and Harry are becoming legendary.
More and more people I talk to are aware of them and beginning to shake their heads in amazement over the blatent stupidity.
They are our best frenemies. The more they speak and try to show their might the more they mess up all for the public to witness. Harrys latest attempt to save face was Hilliarious.
When is Pinky’s term up?

Drive-By Media.
As I see it: CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, AP, UPI, Reuters and just about all the major newspapers.
