Simone’s more like a symphony whose melody develops slowly through long movements, rather than like a rock song, jumping right in with a heavy beat and then in three minutes - it’s over.

I kinda love to hear them.
Many “old time” Dems (like my family) think that the Democratic party is still the party of Truman, and the old “Scoop Jackson” types.
They don’t pay much attention to politics. They think that the Reids, Pelosis, and the Cindy Sheehans are still just the “kook” fringe of the party.
They don’t know, or will they admit that the kooks are now the dem mainstream. The Patreaus ad was one of the first more obvious examples of the kooks taking over the dem party.
