Well, there is that. Granted, the acting, such as it was, is somewhat laughable these days. Of course, by contrast, today's celebrities' skills are more cringeworthy.
I'm just saying that some of those "B" movies deserved to be such. I'm thinking along the lines of "The Brain from Planet Aros" and stuff like that.
Hey My!
have you tried makin’ that crabmeat melt yet?
No I havent
That’s what the MW is for. Stab the 2 spuds with a knife, wrap each in a paper towel, place both in MW, cook on high for 12 minutes, quickly wrap in aluminum foil, pug in the Forman grill (meat is on the Renolds Releasable Foil on both sides), 6 minutes later Nuke the frozen veggies for 6 minutes 15 seconds. Time to plate up and serve.
Want oven baked fries? At 4:15 turn on oven to 450 to pre-heat, on a foil lined cookey sheet that is spayed with Pam place the fresh cut raw potato fries or wedge on the foil, spray with Pam again, season with Paprika. When oven reaches 450 place tray in oven and set timer to 10 minutes, when time goes off plug in the Forman grill and set timer for 5 minutes. When timer goes off remove tray flip over the potatoes spray again, season agin, put tray back in for another 15 minutes. Use the MW or the stove top for veggies. When timer goes off, remove meat from the grill and onto the plates, put veggies on the plate; Now take the supds out and lightly salt the spuds, plate the spuds and serve. All preped and cooked in under an hour. All with time to FReep between the timers going off.
Watch what you read into things.
Was I out of line?
There were dogs for sure.
But over all the quality of an average movie was great compared to the product produced today.
You are something of a miracle man.
I nuke spuds sometimes...I was trying to make a reasonable version of fried potatoes without the grease on the Foreman...
Just ragging you.
Evening Taz....You caught me after I left the office. See on the new thread! *Hugs*
Can’t find crabmeat in Texas?
Not hardly
Save it for hubby...I get enough at home.
Any news about a new “Star Trek” prequel called “Star Trek: Space Academy?”
Heard about it from some actors about three months ago.
Just thinking: “Armageddon” had great special effects and some science imagination. Ben Affleck was pretty good, as was Bruce Willis and the supporting cast.
Somebody mentioned “Dark Star”. If you want a wacky space flic, this is it. A definite two thumbs up!
Did anyone like “Space Cowboys” or any of the “Mars”movies - “Ghosts of Mars” - Anything with Natasha Henstridge is good, if only for her.
The one with Val Kilmer? etc.
Forget “Angry Red Planet”.
Did anybody mentione “2010”? I think I only saw one posting. Special effects were spectacular.
Well dang!
I’m gonna have to send you some!
