Good morning, Canteeners, Cubies, Newbies & Troops! My answer would have to be the Star Wars series, along with Forbidden Planet. Kind of busy in here today, so must run. Enjoy your day, all of you!

Battlestar Galactica (Galactica was made a looong time before George Lucas even THOUGHT about Star Wars! Not likely. SW was 1977, and Lucas had been "thinking" about it for quite some time before that. It took a couple of years to make.
Battlestar Galactica, had it been made prior to 1977 (was it?) must've been sitting on a shelf somewhere until the Star Wars phenomenom took the country by storm. It premiered on TV in 1978. And then, in a reverse twist they released the pilot movie in the theaters AFTER it had been aired for free, which a couple of minor differences and "Sensaround" (surround sound?).

You mean the ones with that HOTTIE Han Solo in them? ;-) Well, they did have Han Solo in them, that's true. I don't know about "hottie". Actually, he was frozen for a good part of the time.
One wonders if Lucas will decide in 10 years that he needs more money and will make the final trilogy after all. One also wonders that if that were to happen, would he find supporting roles for Mark Hammil, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

True enough. He had enough reason to leave it out in the first place.

Hello. Of course I like Science Fiction-especially the old ones where people are always alone in the desert or in the woods and they are the only ones who saw the spaceship. You know, "The Blob" is an outterspace movie, but I don't think anyone put it up there as their favorite. YOu need to check out the movie, "Unidentified". It is an outterspace movie with a twist at the end that you would like. I won't give it away. It is a recently produced movie. We got a copy from Focus on the Family.
We have been fine. It has been very dry here the last 6 weeks, until yesterday when we got about 1 - 1 1/2 inches. Otherwise it has been steady as she goes.

I’ll have to check up on that one...”Unidentified”. Might be good. I am not much of a sci-fi fan. They don’t have enough luuuve in them for my taste! LOL!
Glad you got some rain. We got a welcome 1/2 inch last week. Up till then it had really been drying out. Hope you aren’t too busy to work on your songs. I am still interested in the new CD, whenever that happens!
Take care, and we’ll cross paths again, I’m sure.
