Gleen Beck had Pastor John Hagee on his show last night. They discussed the end times. I think this was one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time. It was very interesting. Did anyone see it? Here is the transscript

Just read most of it. Very good. Most excellent!!
I saw the show and it was interesting what he said about Islam compared to what the anti-Christ would be. They never mentioned abortion of the innocent in the womb,or the acceptance of homosexuality. But over all the show was good.
Now some
“Also, scripture says that one of the punishments will be sores developed by those who receive the mark. So, they tattoo or implant something in the people and the body rejects it and develops sores and the like. This is what I think.”
Thanks. That has always confused me. I’ll have to dust off my poor, neglected bible and read those passages again.
I thought it meant you had to be a Muslim or something.

My opinion:
There are so many Christians in the US, and filling a higher proportion of the worthwhile occupations, that the US will be crippled by the Rapture. What happens thereafter is anyone’s guess.
It’ll do and better than a lot of other holidays

Are you sure you live in the same America that I do? I would be surprised if even 20% of all Americans are born again Christians. A majority of the mainline Protestant churches are liberal, apostate false churches that preach a false works salvation and a social gospel, and a quarter of the others are just nice social clubs. Based on my experience and conversations with Catholics, IMHO more Catholics are only nominal Christians than are true believers in Jesus Christ, which is probably about the same ratio as mainline Protestants. If you don't believe it just ask yourself why the states that are most heavily Catholic are also among the strongest supporters of abortion "rights" when the Catholic Church itself is the most vocal opponent of abortion in the world.
Add all that up and throw in the millions upon millions of Americans who don't even make a pretense of being Christian and you are left with a small minority of the population, both Protestants, evangelicals, and Catholics, who are true believers in the Gospel of Christ. The bible says that by their works we shall know them, "them" being true Christians. We aren't saved by our good works, but if we are saved by grace through faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ our works will show it.

And I like to remember that tuff times never last, tuff people do.
Thank you for the reference. It was quite helpful.
fascinating thread makes me feel like an idiot because I have not read the bible.
The History Channel has a show on now about end times.
Now don’t get discouraged.
There are times when studying your Bible is a kind of paradox. - The more you learn, the more you discover what you don’t know.
It’s not too late to start. Just don’t expect to know it all quickly. I guarantee you that several of the posters on these religion threads have studied Scripture since their youth.
