Slash-and-burn columnist Ann Coulter shocked a cable TV talk-show audience Monday when she declared that Jews need to be "perfected" by becoming Christians, and that America would be better off if everyone were Christian.
Coulter made the remarkable statements during an often heated appearance to promote her new book on advertising guru Danny Deutsch's CNBC show "The Big Idea."
In response to a question from Deutsch asking Coulter if "it would be better if we were all Christian," the controversial columnist responded: "Yes."
"We should all be Christian?" Deutsch repeated.
"Yes," Coulter responded, asking Deutsch, who is Jewish, if he would like to "come to church with me."
Deutsch, pressing Coulter further, asked, "We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians?" She responded: "Yeah."
Coulter deflected Deutsch's assertion that her comments were anti-Semitic, matter-of-factly telling the show's obviously upset host, "That is what Christians consider themselves: perfected Jews."

Wow! That is an amazing story. Then you understand the Martyred Church in reality. Over 400 Christians per day worldwide.

-madonna converted to the jewish faith.......they are welcome to her. ;^)
She is just repeating Paul of Tarsus who said pretty much the same thing 2000 years ago.
Said with absolute clarity. Well done!! Since when is someone supposed to go through life with never being offended. They don’t seem to have any problem offending Christians, but God forbid a Christian should speak the Truth.

What I meant was that Jewish people voting for Hillary because of what Coulter said would be cutting off their noses to spite their faces because democrats are no friends of Israel or Jews in general. Seemed clear enough to me.
I had to go for a biopsy this morning and it got me thinking about how short life really is.

As someone whose youngest years were spent with my Jewish grandfather, I have to say that if your Judaism consists only of rejecting the idea that the Messiah is the Messaach, your religion is very thin!

Definitely something to look into.
dresscode? you may be on to something! LOL
Nope, she did *not* convert. She just belongs to this cult which takes on the name and some superficial characteristics of Jewish mysticism. But since she’s not a Jewish man who has mastered studies of the Talmud, she isn’t even supposed to study the Kabbalah.
-my sons came of age when the local catholic pastor decided to remodel the church and remove the kneelers (against the wishes of the parishioners) and dump all over the catholic school principal..........needless to say they are unimpressed with organized religion. I keep praying though.......and ONE of them has come back, the other keeps looking at other Christian faiths and finds them lacking. As long as they know Jesus, I will be happy.
I have no idea who "Sara Silverstein" is, but if she's saying offensive things about Christianity, then have at her -- as well as anyone else who is insulting your religion.
But who are these other Jews who are doing the same? Name names!
And why do you not capitalize "Jews" while you do capitalize "Christians"?
Madonna never converted to Judaism.
She did. Ann once again saying to the world, “Hey, look at me! I’m being controversial again! Look at me!”
Absolutely. That's why you have to find ways to communicate the truth in a non-confrontational, persuasive way. In Paul's and Peter's time, the only way to address a crowd was to yell from a hillside or a rooftop. We now have ways to lead people to the truth with tv, websites, books, powerpoint displays, etc. where people can mull it over in private and let the Holy Spirit convict those He has chosen.
I just don't see many converts made by people who stand on the street corner yelling "You're going to Hell". But I do see a lot of hostility returned. You can say the same thing but say it more gently. A lot depends on how you frame the debate.
