I see that “swift-boating” is now an officially accepted word meaning “Stating the truth about things the media is trying to hide from the public”.

I am also noticing an increase in the use of the word "polarizing" in an attempt to equate conservatives with the Marxist Left as "extremists", so get ready. It's going to get ugly.

Switboater? As opposed to being a Stalinist engaging in pushing socialism at all costs?

I loathe the media.

I think it means: "Messing up a Democrat's carefully crafted anecdotes with ugly facts." ;)

You are correct, but the libs, and especially leftist publications like Time, have made “Swift-boating” into a negative, implying that the Swift Boat heros were somehow wrong about Kerry’s Viet Nam experiences and that their work was reprehensible, when in fact they had the facts and spoke the truth about Kerry, the lying VN vet.

Yep. It joins "McCarthyism" as another favored liberal term which is used, ironically, in a way that shows a fundamental ignorance or denial of facts.

As loathed as they are by the Left, in fact the Swift-Boat Veterans and Joseph McCarthy were both right.

If “Swift-boating” is accepted officially may I suggest the new word “ De-Frosting” and any derivetives of same as meaning “ you have been caught with a wide stanch” or “ pants down”...
