My favorite sandwich? There are two..chicken salad on a toasted croissant with lettuce, onion and really ripe homegrown tomatoes or caibatta bread with garlic mayo, fresh mozzarrella, basil leaves, oven dried tomatoes and mixed salad greens. The tomatoes are a Martha Stewart recipe. Slice the tomatoes onto a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar and fresh thyme then bake them in a low oven for a couple hours. They will still be pliable but dry.Store them in the fridge but they only keep a few days.
