New rules this year.....used to be last weekend in April to last weekend in October.
Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.
It's not gonna get any lighter after Novembrt 4th. *sigh*
HiJinx, in AZ, doesn't do DST.

Down here the sun comes up and later goes down.... not at all like you near the Arctic Circle.
When I was a kid going to school in upstate NY, we'd all wait for the school bus in the dark during the fall. Then came DST....and we'd all wait in the dark for the school bus.
But we were better off for a day or so with the extra hour of sleep.
