Prayer request: humblegunner is ill [Update @ #707]

humblegunner has been in the hospital since last Wednesday, October 3.

He has been extremely ill and today, after four days of antibiotics and the removal of a large amount of fluid from the area surrounding his right lung, he is finally beginning to feel better. His doctors have said that he will be hospitalized for several more days.

How soon will he, again, be the ornery SOB we all know and love?

He, even in his heavily medicated state, is the same dear humble we all know and love.

When we were in the recovery room immediately following his surgery, one of the pulmonary people was giving him coughing instructions.

She told him to hug himself around his tummy and then she added, "just like you hug your wife."

Well, humble only has an EX-wife, who he has affectionately dubbed "evilexwife."

He immediately pulled his arms out and away from his body while making "guns" with the fingers of each hand and moving his thumbs as if to shoot them.

All with his eyes closed and tubes everywhere...

We laughed and told her that he has only an ex-wife.

She then instructed him to hug himself and when he did, he said "I love me."

He is still our little stinker.
