The National Ledger ^ | 10-07-07 | Josh Hart

Posted on 10/07/2007 10:18:03 AM PDT by Coastal

Kid Rock is none too happy with Sean Penn. The angry left-wing actor never seems to take a break from ripping on America and the US Troops and apparently Bob Ritchie (aka Kid Rock) has tired of the whole mess. Rock has made several trips to Iraq to entertain and support the troops and let his anger towards Penn known front and center in an interview set

Bob Ritchie even dabbled into a bit of history and the second amendment in the interview. Kid Rock made it known that he is a big proponent of firearms: “If it weren’t for guns and people who know how to use them in America, we’d all be sitting around with swastikas saying, ‘Heil Hitler!’”

“I’m liking this guy.”

Me too, though I don’t really like his music.

I don’t like his music either, but I like and respect that he loves this country and its military.

His song “Cowboy” was somewhat of a jam, he rapped better in it than most rappers.

The Wiki bio reads that his stage name comes from when he was a teenage DJ performing at parties the crowds would say “Look at white kid rock!”

I was never a fan of Kid Rock but after 9/11 I totally changed my mind. He’s not afraid to speak out against the lame brain Hollywood idiots, visits the troops, started hanging out and singing with CW singers while not being in fear of how it would effect his music or fans, and, believes in America and the 2nd Amendment. Kudos to him.

Several years back I had the pleasure of seeing Kid Rock in concert with Aerosmith and Run DMC.

The encored with Walk This Way.

Fabulous!

Ditto. I only know him from "Put Your Picture Away" (or whatever it was called) and his stint on "The Simpsons", where he proably wasn't feeling good 'cause he looked a little yellow ...

I seem to remember that when the USS Cole was patched up enough to leave Africa for home the XO ordered “American Bad Ass” to be played over the ships speakers loud enough for it to be heard on shore. The Captain was supposedly pissed but the crew loved it.
