Geer (who later generations grew to love as Grandpa Walton on the TV series “The Waltons”), took Hay to the San Francisco General Strike of 1934, and indoctrinated him into the American Communist Party. I didn't need to know that Grandpa Walton was a Queer Commie. Or at least Bisexual Bolshevik, since he was married and had a daughter, as well having a "boyfriend", Hay.

I found that upsetting too. But I’m much happier with a gay commie actor than I am with politicians. Since Hay started NAMBLA, I would like to know how all these politicians get away with this.
