I understand your loathing of Rudy. I’m just saying that any third party effort such as you describe works to Mrs. Clinton’s benefit, and in the long run, she will do much more damage to pro-life efforts, with, for instance, her Supreme Court nominees, than Rudy ever could. Of course, Republicans could always nominate Fred. I see no logical reason to “work night and day to make sure” Mrs. Clinton elected, regardless of how good and virtuous that makes you feel. Her election would be a disaster for the country on several different levels.
If it’s Rudy911 vs. Hitlery, we’ve already lost. SoCons then have a choice: lose only the election (Hitlery wins), or lose the election and the GOP (Rudy911 wins).
I’ll minimize my losses and deal with Her Thighness, and start trying to rebuild the GOP and win in 2012.
There is no justification to vote for Rudy, none. Period, end of story. No matter how much you hate Clinton, it does not justify sacrificing everything at Rudy911’s altar. I will not be terrorized into voting for Rudy911.
I don't think that argument holds water since Republican presidents are responsible for Justices as bad or worse than Clinton's two choices. That's why many pro-lifers will feel free to vote 3rd party should Giuliani be the Republican nominee - they know it is 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, and Hillary will not lie to them to get their vote like Rudy has.
