I know there’s plenty of fun being made here about this subject, but there’s no reason for them to insist she remove her bra. This would indeed be humiliating to a woman. The security guard would surely have a device to check the properties of the undergarment.

I have the same issue every time I fly through Kansas City. Always get pulled for the pat down. And I’m a frequent business traveler. Now, I wear a sports bra when I’m going out of there.
Yup. Comply or else. The options she was given for a stupid underwire bra were really half-assed ones. They could’ve had a female guard do a pat search if they absolutely had to, and be done with it.
