In Rush’s words, Mitt Romney threw me under the bus like he did that other guy, Larry Craig.

“Now former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney is weighing into the fray. In a statement to the Huffington Post, Romney’s spokesman Kevin Madden offered the following on Limbaugh:

“Governor Romney would disagree with the negative characterization of those men and women who serve with honor and distinction in the United States Military. There may be disagreements with individual opinions, but no one would ever dispute the fact that those members of the military who disagree with the war have earned the right to express that opinion.”

Sounds to me like Romney doesn’t get it and doesn’t know what is going on. Perhaps he has a problem with reading comprehension, or perhaps he just reads the drive by media for his news.

I’m sure he’ll feel differently if you ask him now. That’s all that matters. That and his hair. Just ask his supporters...

Ahh yes, poor Slick Willard sticks his finger in the air, checks the wind, and condemns something that never happened.

So typical.

It’s not like Romney ever really had a chance, but that ignorant statement was the final nail in his political coffin.

You can always tell a real Liberal by how they react when a circumstances arises that they couldn’t calculate but must respond to quickly. Their first instinct is the liberal position. Thank you Romney for yet again revealing yourself a damn lib. You tossed Reagan overboard, and now you toss Rush. Telling the two greatest conservatives in modern history and you disavow both.

I suspect Romney hasn’t done himself any favors with THE strongest conservative voice and leader today.

Thompson:

Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

Romney:

“Governor Romney would disagree with the negative characterization of those men and women who serve with honor and distinction in the United States Military. There may be disagreements with individual opinions, but no one would ever dispute the fact that those members of the military who disagree with the war have earned the right to express that opinion.”

Romney's reponse is pathetic.

Fred is standing tall. Give em hell Fred.

Please tell me this is NOT the statement from Romney's campaign regarding the Rush brouhaha. For someone who is supposed to be so up on current events and have his finger on the pulse of Conservative America, it seems that he just put that finger in a light socket.

Oh my.

I wonder if Glenn Beck will bring this up along with the fact that a company he founded is now working to sell the CHICOMS a key to obtain access to US Military Networks?
At this point I’d consider that candidate a complete Douche Bag

Is this what Mitt really said,if so it’s absolutely unacceptable in this mans book.

What a cowardly politically correct statement from a man who claims to be a real leader.

You gotta be friggin kidding me.

In my book, Mitt just went from, "Okay, I could live with him" to "Mitt's a piece of s***".

Thats a fence riding statement if I ever saw one.

No support for Rush or acknowledgement of a Rat conspiracy of lies and deception.

Wimp out alert! I knew Fred was a better candidate than Romney and this proves it.

Stupid statement by Romney. Limbaugh called them phoney soldiers because they falsified their military records to make it look like they'd seen combat and hadn't, a la Winter Soldier.

SHAME ON HIM.
