Fred Thompson on Harry Reids attacks on Rush Limbaugh
Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

Tepid and Vepid, both fit...Yeah, but two teams. One for tepid, one for vepid. Do we know yet which team released this? No. So I stand on my assumption.

A full court press by the Democrat controlled congress to silence a conservative talkshow host is an all out attack on conservatism. Worse than that, it’s an all out attack on the first amendment by the congress. This is tyranny. And coupled with the organized congressional attacks on our commanding general in Iraq, it’s treason. It’s right that constitutionally minded patriotic candidates should speak out on the matter. FRed gets it!

One for tepid, one for vepid.Actually, that's 'vapid'. The vepid team is still under consideration. The one they chose to head it was just indicted.

Yeah, I agree the CEO’s letter was as good as we could expect. Good analogy about the hairball! LOL!
And what of the supposed “TOP CONSERVATIVE” Duncan Hunter’s response to the Rush situation?
Bupkis. Which is almost worse than Mitt’s liberal pandering IMO.

Good stance I would say. Mitt’s done IMHO. But his team is going to scratch like hell for a bit...

For someone running for the Presidency, this shows a major lack of understanding of the National political stage.

What a cheap ploy for political points. Fred blatantly gets Limbaugh to advertise him free of charge on his show.
Yes, I too was surprised; but in a different way in that Rush fell for it. After all, Rush did not have to give Fred free advertisement. That was Rushs choice.
What compounded my surprise was that he also mentioned he had received an e-mail (or something) from Lesley Graham also supporting him. What an impeccable reference!!! Graham is so transparent because he is politically in trouble

Good move on Fred’s part. It’s a no brainer for a candidate that is courting the conservative vote. Go fred!

What truth did I leave out?
Here, I'll add the truth in there for ya "Dim candidates are caught between supporting Dingy or the truth and Rush.
My point was that the MSM leaves the truth out of the story so often that we seem to forget that sometimes, it's not about which side you are on, but whether or not that side is on the side of truth.
On this issue, the truth is that Rush never said what they are condemning him for saying.
