It should have been a stronger statement.

It treads a fine line, but I think it puts a foot down in the right place. Screw you would not have been diplomatic, however pleasing :)

The letter is exceedingly diplomatic ~ written by one of the staff attorneys, and then personally edited by the boss, it says quite clearly that the second one of Harry Reid's minions, or Harry himself, comes out from their safe base in the Senate, he will support Rush Limbaugh's lawsuit against them.

Reid, however, is a coward. Some of them, e.g. Harkin, Biden, maybe Clinton, are stupid enough they'll be speaking in public on the matter within a few days, so Rush can sue them.

The letter doesn't open another front in the war to keep the Fairness Doctrine a nonentity, the Fairness Doctrine being Demo-code for censorship of non-liberal propaganda.

Throwing fuel on the fire is not what is needed. A wet blanket will do more to squelch Reid, hillary et al than more hard words.
