Drunks tend to drive well below the speed limit to be "careful". Sometimes they perform that "careful" driving in the "slow" lane...on the wrong side of the freeway. It is very dangerous to drive in the "fast" lane late at night. You are likely to have a "head on" with a drunk. If you happen to pull off to the side of the road at night, stay clear of your car as well. Drunks tend to follow tail lights...including those on cars parked on the side of the road. Be extra careful at stop lights late at night too. Drunks often blow right through a red light. Too blasted to stop in time or even notice it is red.
