We can't keep him out of the country because he is a head of state who is entitled to appear at the UN under existing agreements.

Exactly. So why is everyone crying about it? Let the guy in, give him enough rope to hang himself.

The problem is that Bush is not concerned about nuances and never has been - he doesn’t know how to use public opinion.

The main condemnation I've heard about Nutjob is that he has 'called for the elimination of Israel.'

All the MSM admits that, and it colors the guy as a non-serious, er dangerous, nutjob.

There's not a single thing Bush could say to accomplish that degradation. Nothing works as well as getting out of the way when your enemy is digging his own hole.

Next we're going to hear that Nutjob has to go, not because he's got nukes, but because he's offended NAMBLA! That's about all that can get the MSM to get excited about.

Yes we can. Kurt Waldheim was deemed persona non grata by Ronald Reagan, and several European countries, thus barred from entering the US for any reason. While I'm not aware of Waldheim attempting to use a UN visit as an excuse, PNG is a longstanding diplomatic concept used by all nations. It would have gone nowhere.

He has the UN as a platform. We don't have to offer him one of our universities as well. Right after his appearance at Columbia, Bill Richardson was interviewed and he said that although he disagreed with Ahmadinejad, we need to sit down and negotiate with the Iranians. That is just foolhardy.

The main condemnation I've heard about Nutjob is that he has 'called for the elimination of Israel.' All the MSM admits that, and it colors the guy as a non-serious, er dangerous, nutjob.

He is a terrorist and supporter of terrorists. It is not just about Israel's security, but our security. Some of the hostages from the second takeover of our Embassy in Tehran believe that he was one of the hostage takers. Iran is also supplying weapons, training, and advisors to the insurgents in Iraq who are killing our soldiers.

Next we're going to hear that Nutjob has to go, not because he's got nukes, but because he's offended NAMBLA! That's about all that can get the MSM to get excited about.

That may win him some friends.
