I’m heading out the door of my office to face the Friday night commute traffic.
Lessee...
It’s 4:15pm, now. That oughta put me home by about 6:00 or so. A little earlier if I’m lucky.
I’ll try and pop in later on and be sociable, though it’ll be after 9:00, if I do.

I’ve spent the week tending to my daughter (post-surgery) and it’s taken the wind right outta my sails!
I’ll probably be fast asleep by the time you get back online. :o[

Doing good. The crazy season is starting early this year and we're trying to finish shingling the house before the snow flies.

Hey, I’m related to him.
If he was anything like me, he used 4 letter words at the end.

I left work at 6:05, and arrived home at 7:15.
Too much rain here to make it in my normal 50 mins.

Monday is eggnog. And yes there is pumpkin ice cream this year. It is actually rather tasty. In small amounts.
I made spinach with a dash of nutmeg two nights ago because I knew that we would begin blending nog today and I wanted to have it before the seasonal revulsion set in.

William was an amazing figure, with a lot of nerve. But I guess he wasn’t that great a horseman in his old age.
Bad genes, or bad environment - most of his descendants turned out to have great gifts, but also immense flaws. I prefer being ordinary. Of course, I ended up with a batch of Norman-type offspring, anyhow. Maybe they get it from their Dad.

"Hes in my genealogy, so I can joke about him all I want!" Much less well known is his distant cousin, William the Concurror, who was less aggressive and more agreeable.

Wow! I wonder what I can find locally. If I can find either of those flavors, I’ll think of you when I eat it!
I suspect certain aromas could be a little nauseating, after a few hours.

Weather can always mess up a commute. You should see it here when the sun comes out; it’s like people forget how to drive.

Much less well known is his distant cousin, William the Concurror, who was less aggressive and more agreeable. I believe William the Conqueror was a cousin to Edward the Confessor and Ethelred the Unready.
It was really a pity historically that Godwin had Alfred the Aetheling blinded and murdered.
