It’s high school. They start at 7:15 in the morning and are out, usually around 1:30 or 2.

Lol, I note the complete lack of interest in discussing the real life situation where the girl is the older and the boy under the age of consent. It happens.

If this situation were reversed, how many years do you think a seventeen year-old daughter should spend in prison?

And would you hunt down the fifteen year-old boy and beat him up?

That's a bit unusual. In most places these days, it's the elementary kids who start early and the high school kids start later. (the theory being that HS kids stay up too late and are useless in the early morning) In my day the High School and Jr. High School kids started 15 minutes earlier and got out 15 minutes later than the elementary kids. But we didn't have buses to ride to school, except in some extra ordinary cases, such as special education students who were only accommodated in a few schools, and so could have much farther to go. Thus we did not need staggered hours to accommodate reuse of the buses.

Our hours were 8:45 to 3:15 for high school and Jr. High and 9:00 to 3:00 for elementary.
