Oklahoma Teen Bitten Between Legs By K9 Cop

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Oklahoma City police are facing allegations of brutality, after a 15-year-old boy claims officers used a K-9 to help arrest him and then bite him between his legs.
15-year-old Mark Adkins is now facing several charges after taking a joy ride in stolen car and getting into a short pursuit with police in southwest Oklahoma city. But along with the charges he's now facing an uphill battle with his health after being captured by a K-9 officer that tore away flesh along with his scrotum.
Mark says "the doctors told me they didn't think they would be able to stitch me back together."
Mark's mother, Michelle, says "he was in trauma for 7 to 9 days and I've just never seen anything like this done to a minor."
Capt. Steve McCool of the Oklahoma City Police Department says "obviously they're not trained to bite in this particular area of the body."
Officers say Mark was not handcuffed when the dog attacked, and claim the animal was just doing what it was trained to do.
Capt. Steve McCool says "you had the officer on top of the individual, they're on the ground, the guy's resisting, the dog is trying to assist the handler with this aggressive behavior the best he can."
Mark says "I can't explain how painful it was. It was like being tied up and eaten alive."
But Mark says he was no longer resisting. His mother now hopes legal action will help the police admit they were wrong.
Michelle says "there are some good officers out there and there are some bad ones, but I think in order to clean it up let these officers take responsibility for what they do to the public."
Police are still investigating the incident and as of Thursday, neither the dog nor his handler has faced any disciplinary action.
No mention of a daddy.

If parents didn’t defend everything their “sweet, perfect” kids do, things like this wouldn’t happen.
It reminds me of the case of the spoiled brat who damaged all those cars in Singapore and was sentenced to a good canning. His Daddy pulled all sorts of strings to try to get his son off.
In this case, Mark could have killed someone on his “joy ride.” What a dope. And it seems to run in his family.

I’m generally surprised that Jessie, PETA and a host of others haven’t led a campaign to ban police dogs. I’m sure it is coming.
Sorry, I have little use for thieves, but this is a sick thread, and I don’t feel the kid deserved anywhere near this. I have to draw the line somewhere. Now,The animal that tracked down his ex-wife and her new husband and bit off and swallowed his ear and her fingers might be another story.

SASAKWA, OK — An Oklahoma man is facing charges for attacking his ex-wife and her new husband. During the struggle, Tom Ledgerwood allegedly bit off and swallowed body parts from both of his victims.
Kristy and Larry Nuckols got married on Monday. It should have beeen the happiest time of their lives but what happened two weekends ago in the small town of Sasakwa has scarred them forever.
Kristy says the two of them were chased down a dirt road and their car got stuck. That’s when she says her ex-husband, Tom Ledgerwood, and some friends confronted them.
“I had some mace and I hit him right in the eye and he dove in the car,” said Larry.
Larry says they started fighting and were rolling around inside the car when Tom began biting him.
“He told me, you know what that was? That’s your ear and he says ‘I’m going to get the other one.’,” said Larry.
Larry lost half of his left ear, the top of his right one and thought he was going to also lose his life.
“People came up behind me yelling ‘kill him, kill him, Tom,’ kicking me in the back of the head,” said Larry.
That’s when Kristy says she jumped in to try to save Larry.
“I went to put my fingers in his mouth to pull him back.. one chomp and I knew that sucker was coming off,” said Kristy.
“I knew we weren’t going to get out of their alive, so I started conniving,” said Larry.
“Larry, like what happens here stays here,” said Kristy.
Kristy says they eventually got her ex-husband to calm down.
“That’s when he said, he swallowed my finger and his ears,” said Kristy.
35-year-old Tom Ledgerwood was arrested and is charged with five felony counts and could spend close to 50 years behind bars.
“He’s a mad dog, he needs to be put down,” said Larry.
Kristy says she and Tom were married for 17 years and their divorce became final last month.
“Before you continue on your present course of action, son, you might want to consider why we call this here K9 officer ‘Darwin’”.
Exactly true, this idiot was putting the officer into danger and had already put multiple civilians into danger by his actions. The dog simply put an end to it.
We need a lot more k-9’s on the street. In my experience nothing pacifies (and puts the fear of God into) a disaffected youth more than a 95lb German Shepherd. Believe me, I own one.
Our GSD isn’t taught to bite there, but is taught to react and bite where best available in a protection situation. If I send him on an attack, he will probably prefer the thigh or arm, but shoulder, crotch and ankle also work if that is all he can get to.
What is fun, is when we use his muzzle. Unlike some soft muzzles, his has a steel bar in front. He’s been taught to slam into his enemy with the bar - he can break ribs, and supposedly the dog often slides upward to hit the enemy in the face. It can cause a LOT of damage. If you see a GSD or Malinois in a muzzle don’t assume they are harmless...
Maybe he had a “wide stance” and “tapped his feet” and, well, the dog, well .......
