In all the Roman Catholic churches or schoolrooms I remember the American was always displayed with the Vatican flag.We understood that we were citizens of the United States of America and members of the Roman Catholic Church.We never thought of ourselves as citizens of the Vatican.
Those who want to be citizens of any other nation should remember that in the U.S. of A. the laws require the American flag be in the position of highest honor.
