A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.
The source says regardless of the NYPD's rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran's president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

Let’s hold him hostage for a few months. Pillowcase on the head, screaming militants, Jimmy Carter shaking in his Brogans, the whole bit.

I think that folks should have their identification checked at the entrance to the site.
If they show up on the "terror watch list" they should not be allowed to enter.
I imagine that Mr. A. is on that list.

If this were to happen over here, there would be OUTRAGE.
Don't get your hopes up. Most Americans are too pre-occupied with OJ's arrest and the latest Britney Spears scandal to give a rip.

He shouldn’t be allowed on American soil at all dammit! What an outrage! Maybe Osama bin Laden would like to join the UN as well? Then he can come visit too? Would we allow that?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY??? I’m fed up! Voting isn’t enough to stop these idiots from destroying us.

He shouldn’t even be allowed near it. If millions of New Yorkers can put a human chain around that area, I’ll be disgusted.

I think it would be a good time for one of those colossal NYC traffic jams. How 'bout it NY? Everyone head to Ground Zero at about 7 or 8 AM. Take a picnic lunch 'cause you're going to be parked for a few hours...
If the authorities tried to stop them, the Iranians would simply claim diplomatic immunity and demand to be allowed to pass. But they can't argue with 20,000 angry New Yorkers...

If Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is in fact going to honor the Americans killed on 9/11 and place wreaths there, how will this play with his terrorist cohorts in the Middle East?
