The decision was up to the View. It was not up to You. You left it in their hands. The View told you no. They made the right decision. You deflected to them, and they cooked Your goose.
Manilow, this was very low. You owe Hasselbeck and the show an appology.
I don't get this chance very often, but I think the shows producers made the right decision on this matter. Good for them.

He’s a fun performer in Vegas. One show is enough. He made one or two memorable recordings. He may be a good person. He used really bad judgement thinking he could somehow make an impact on what people think of Rosie. Instead he made an impact on what people think of him. The advice, “Shut up and sing!” (Thank you, Laura.) is the best and let it go at that.
