As WAMM and other communist anti-war groups assembled at the Cathedral of St. Paul Saturday, over 25 counter-protesters gathered
at nearby Triangle Park. The lefties didn't think of getting this prime section of space, spanning two long corners alongside their parade route.
MN Freepers joined forces with TrueNorth activists, who are gathering folks to counterprotest kooks at next year's RNC Convention.
On the steps of the cathedral, leftists displayed their wares...
their signs...
and their fake coffin, and readied to march.
Kitty-corner, we readied our signs and bullhorns and greeted the marchers as they slithered by.
Highlights:
• Several dozen moonbats asking how we defined victory, scowling when our reply was defeating the enemy, the enemy surrendering, or just plain NOT LOSING.
• Stealing their thunder as photographers aimed lenses away from them over to us.
• Jim with his megaphone, guiding us in his parody, "Give Petraeus a Chance." (watch it here.)
