O.J. Simpson has been arrested in Las Vegas and will likely be charged on three counts -- conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and armed robbery with a deadly weapon, according to CNN.

When the O.J. trial was on court TV, I watched quite a lot of it and I think Marcia Clark was a really bad prosecutor- Darden wasn’t so good either. They lost the case on strategy, as well as Marcia putting the jury to sleep with her course on DNA. I took a Biology class a few years ago and the instructor I had was so good at explaining the basic concept of DNA it is a shame LA couldn’t have found someone like her to present DNA to the jury. I was actually very interested in DNA at the time and I couldn’t follow Marcia without falling asleep. Mark Fuhrman sure didn’t help the case with his bagage but a good prosecutor would have made a world of difference.

Thanks. And I didn't know that, nor that he classified Peterson as a Narcissist. But that is another prime example, for sure.

It might become "old" and you might think he is a "johnny one note," but thank goodness he is saying it. Evidently he wants to make people aware of the type of negative narcissism that is so destructive, yet hard for others who have not had it touch their lives, believe in. Having your life turned upside down by a narcissist is something one will never forget. And, so many in jail - so many criminals - are true malignant narcissists. It is that personality dysfunction that enables them to do their dastardly deeds without remorse, and feel that they have been "framed," or the world is against them, etc. It is a typical pattern...we will see it again with OJ once more this time.

A funny aspect of narcissism is that truly, deep inside, the narcissist wants to be punished!!! It is that attention thing again. If they are being punished, it means that someone was hurt. If someone was hurt, it means they had power. And power over someone, anyone, everyone is what they want. That is how they think. Their mind thinks in ways the normal mind just does not understand. They know they are doing/have done wrong; so they know punishment is due...but the punishment is also like a dessert - because it brings attention, and they must have attention!

OJ might appear to be angry about being accused, but he is truly also happy to have the attention, and the fact that he might face jail satisfies his desire to be punished. That is a masochistic aspect of narcissistic behavior.

Watch the fireworks...he will jump through all the typical behavior patterns of a narcissistic mind as this story unfolds.

I just heard that too. You’d think IF OJ was going to try and pull something off ,like this he would just hire some thugs to do the dirty work for him. Bail will be interesting!

Judge will be looking at- whether he has ties to the community (doesn’t) - whether he’s a flight risk- (White Bronco..but he DID stay in Vegas since this happened) and how much is enough for him to realistically raise- or- does he make it so high that it’s not possible to raise it..or does he deny bail?

Fascinating. Bet the judge on call didn’t expect this would be part of his/her weekend!

Lousy prosecutors, lenient judge who completely lost control of his courtroom.

But the real problem was the DA, who consented to a change of venue without a fight.

Nobody in Central was going to convict him. They didn't even consider the evidence - they were out barely long enough to elect a foreman.
