FReepers, our government did not connect the dots that could have prevented the 9/11 attacks. We face an even more horrific threat. Glenn Beck is doing a special this week called THE PERFECT DAY.

We have discovered architectural plans in a safe house in Iraq. Those plans are of American elementary schools. We have discovered tapes of a mock attack in which our children in the schools under seige are spoken to in English.

. The terrorist have plans for multiple attacks on our children. They plan to brutalize them and murder them. When help comes, they plan to blow up car bombs to kill the rescuers.

Ultimately, the plan is to creat the ultimate Holy War. They expect our reaction to be attacks on Muslims and the burning of mosques. Those are the images they want to show Muslims around the world to unite all of Islam for the final great battle.

Please use this thread to make reports about what are schools are doing. We need to hold their feet to the fire and get answers. Here is an example.

Glenn, I do grasp "Realism" quite well, thank you. It's you who want to apply some kind of label to me. You're in the wrong here on that, and I've never once said you HAD to do anything. If you want to play the odds, all the more power to you, good luck with that. Hope you win the lotto too. Don't forget to buy a ticket though, since sitting on your a$$ and doing NOTHING at ALL seems to be the "realism" you like. That's fine, but it won't haul your butt down the store to get a ticket. And sending your child off to school, without a plan to get her out, or to know where to meet her, or to have her prepared to know how to escape and evade is... as someone else put it, irresponsible.

Don't know why you chose to come after me today, but you're welcomed to do so IN PRIVATE -- so if you wish to continue to insult my intelligence, I suggest you do so off of the public view. It is, after all, frowned upon to make personal attacks and continuing to do so against me, or Beck or anyone else on here is probably going to cause some issues for some people. So, I'd invite you to start using the freepmail instead of a public venue if you wish to continue this debate. It's unbecoming an intelligent individual like yourself to keep trying to goad someone into a fight.

What we can do, though mine are homeschooled, is look closely at Beslan and examine the things that went wrong. If the problem-solving becomes nothing more than an exercise in thinking, great. We got some brain exercise.

But it doesn't hurt to get some ideas flowing, imo. I tried to do this on the last thread about this, because I read so so extensively about Beslan and have studied Basayev and his hostage situations in great detail.

I do know what my child's school is doing. I also know what my own school is doing. In my opinion and in my husband's, the preparations are reasonable and well thought out.

Personally, I think churches are softer and more likely targets, but that's my opinion, yours may differ.

Y2K was actually MITIGATED because an awful lot of people did a lot of work before it happened. I was part of some of the major upgrades to computer systems the military and DOD uses, and guess what? Had we done NOTHING at all, but "waited to see what happens", the worst would have happened. But, you know that's all "conspiracy water under the bridge" now, ain't it? LOL

There is no way a small army is getting anywhere near our school. It would have to be a group of 2 or 3.

They wouldn’t be able to set up explosives either, due to the school layout. There are no areas that are not constantly frequented. Every single room is in use.

In the district my kids go to, we have the same system. All exterior doors are locked at all times. There is one entry point...it has a camera (that is viewed in the office). You buzz in, are asked who you are, why you are there. If you are known (a parent...coming to pickup a child for an early dismissal or a sick child called from the nurses office) you are ‘buzzed in.’ If not you are greeted by school security and have to produce ID, explain why you are there. This happened last year as my husband (who never picks up or does any volunteer work at the school) had to pick up our youngest son (we got a call from the nurse). They were expecting me to do the pick up...and checked on my husband (since he was not known to them). We were pleased that they took the security of our child (and the building) so seriously.

As a commercial real estate broker, they weren’t inviting me in on the CIA or FBI briefings. After the first hit on the WTC, yes, I knew it would happen sooner or later. Clinton looked at it as a law enforcement issue. HE NEVER EVEN VISITED THE SITE.

After Belsan, yes, this is one of the scenarios. It is actually brilliant for causing the ultimate terror. But, maybe it would just be better to pretend it could never happen and not ask a single question of our children’s schools about preparation. If I close my eyes, I won’t see it.

We can protect ourselves by, closing our borders, disallow any muslims from entering our country under any reason, start Ethnic profiling (99.9% of all terrorist are middle eastern in appearance and between the ages of 18 and 45), allow wire taps on calls to and from muslim countries, monitor all mosques, and stop all the possible law suits by the ACLU by taking Ethnic profiling cases out of the jurisdiction of the courts.

MarMema, There is simply NOTHING wrong with brainstorming ideas, or discussing the "what could happen" concept. Keep it up, and do not let people like "Glenn" dissuade you with his outrageous comments of "do nothing". It is PRECISELY that sort of thinking that LET 9-11 happen. The government was warned time and time again about escalations from each of the brutal attacks that were happening, in particular during the Clinton Administration. They, the government refused to listen to experts in the field, and they refused to listen to us "boots on the ground" in many cases. After all, the military is, to the Left, nothing but a bunch of "Robots" who "follow orders and Shut Up".

This is the sort of thing people like Glenn would have you believe. It is what the Clinton Administration believed. Unfortunately, it is sometimes what a lot of Americans think about those of us who've been on the ground, seen and heard, and dealt with various world situations in person.

Some would call them cowards, because they want you to learn from past mistakes, like not listening to experts prior to 9-11. Or making laughing comments about y2k (when it was a real issue for many computer systems, and indeed, without making the required changes, and people looking into the problem BEFORE HAND would have been disastrous).

Keep up the thinking, and planning and deciding. When you die, you can rest. Until then, THINKING is the exercise of the mind. When you sit there, fat, dumb and happy, and being an "Optimist" about your fellow man, that's when you can convince yourself that the only evil out there are those who think. Don't let people convince you that thinking is wrong.

You are right. The United States government is not in the business of preserving Judeo-Christian culture. It is the business of preserving the United States — a secular organization. If it comes down to national destruction or submssion, the Government will submit.

"If this goes on"... in the end, it will come down to Them (the Muslims, and their secularist thralls) and Us (Christians and our religious and cultural allies). If current trends continue, the only government that will protect us in the final battle will be a Christian government. What form that Christian government takes, and who will lead it, remains to be seen.
